This website (“the Site”) and the Tizra Software or Hosted Services, as defined in the Tizra Terms of Use, available at https://terms.tizrapublisher.com/tos, (together with the Site, the “Services”), are provided by Tizra, Inc. Throughout this Privacy Policy, the words “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Tizra, Inc. and its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates collectively (“Tizra”). By using the Services, you consent to the use of your Personal Data (defined below) as described in this Privacy Policy (“Policy”).

This Policy describes how Tizra may collect, use, and share your Personal Data. Any capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this Policy will have the same meaning as in the Terms of Use, which incorporates this Policy by reference (together, the “Terms”). Updates to this Policy reflect changes in data protection laws, as well as our effort to provide you with a clear understanding of how we protect your privacy. This Policy does not apply to any third-party services that integrate with the Services, or that we use to provide the Services to you.

AS A CONDITION TO USE OUR SERVICES, YOU MUST AFFIRMATIVELY CONSENT TO BOTH OUR TERMS OF USE AND THIS POLICY. YOUR CONSENT SURVIVES, ESPECIALLY IF YOU CONTINUE TO USE OUR SERVICES, UNTIL YOU AFFIRMATIVELY WITHDRAW YOUR CONSENT THROUGH TERMINATION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

Your privacy is important to us. Tizra at times collects, retains, and utilizes Personal Data about you to operate our business, including collecting feedback from you, and notifying you about new titles and opportunities to access content of interest to you.

The term “Personal Data” means personally identifiable information that Tizra obtains about you, including without limitation, your name and email address. We do not collect Personal Data about you through the Services unless you voluntarily provide it, such as when you provide email contact information to register for an account or send feedback to Tizra. If you voluntarily provide your email address or other contact information, we might also use it to inform you of new titles or other updates to our products. At your request, we will remove your contact information from the lists used for such mailings.

Also, when you visit the Services, we collect information that does not identify you to measure the use of the Services and to improve the content of the Services, as described below. Such non-identifiable data may also be used by vendors we authorize to improve their products, marketing, or other processes.

If information is aggregated or de-identified so it is no longer reasonably associated with an identified or identifiable natural person, we may use it for any business purpose.

Disclaimer

We do not affirmatively solicit or attempt to collect, use, or process any Sensitive Personal Data. “Sensitive Personal Data” means Personal Data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation, or any Personal Data relating to criminal convictions and offenses. As specified in our Terms, we do not verify or claim any responsibility for the plain-text content you or your End Users enter or exchange. Any information you or your Customers include in Customer Content or End User Content is at your own risk. We do not disclose any of your Personal Data other than as described in this Policy. You can always refuse to supply your Personal Data, with the understanding that such refusal may affect the performance of or prevent you from using the Services.

Children’s Personal Data

As stated in the Terms, neither the Site nor the Servicesaredirected toward individuals under eighteen (18) years of age (“Child” or “Children”). We do not knowingly collect or process Personal Data from Children without parental or guardian consent, as applicable. If we become aware that a Child has provided Personal Data to us, we will take all commercially reasonably steps to delete such information. Children are not eligible to use our Services. If you use the Services to collect or process the Personal Data of Children, you will be solely responsible for all compliance and liability associated with such collection and processing.

Log Files

As is true of most websites and software services, Tizra may gather certain information automatically and store it in log files and other data formats. This information, which does not identify you, includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We may use this information to track user habits and improve the functionality of the Services as a result of our observations.

Cookies & “Do Not Track” Requests

Tizra uses cookies to track anonymous information. Cookies are small data files that a website or software service can place on a user’s computer to allow the website or service to store and retrieve data about that particular user so that the website or service can provide or perform a variety of tasks and functions. Tizra does not link the information it stores in cookies to any of your Personal Data.

Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option (“DNT”), which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services (including behavioral advertising services) that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and across different websites. Our Services do not support DNT requests at this time.

Disclosure of Information

Except as indicated within this Policy, we will not sell, rent, or otherwise share or transfer your Personal Data with third parties. We may share or transfer your Personal Data as directed to do so by you. All Tizra vendors operate under federal and state laws regarding consumer privacy.

We may, in our sole discretion, share or transfer your Personal Data where permitted or required by law, to comply with legal process, to protect the security or integrity of our databases or the Services, to protect our business or reputation, to take precautions against legal liability, in the event of a business transition (see below), to protect and defend our rights or property, for required institutional risk control, or for resolving disputes, inquiries or complaints with respect to your use of the Services.
