the
Office. The
remaining
candidates
were
examined
by the
Director
partly
in
writing
and
partly orally. The examination of the
gentlemen
named under 1, 2, and
4
below turned out in favor of Messrs.
Schenk and Einstein.

We
therefore
propose
the election of Messrs. Schenk and Einstein.
Both could
assume
their
positions
on
16 June at
the latest.
It is
recommended,
as
has been done heretofore,
to
make at first-
only provisional
appointments,
subject
to
later definitive
confirmation and the establishment of
a
salary
commensurate with the
performance
at
that time.
Thus, it is moved that the Federal Council resolve the following:
1.)
Messrs.
J.
Heinrich
Schenk
from Röthenbach
(Bern)
and
Albert Einstein from Zurich
will
be
provisionally
elected
as
Technical Experts Class
3
(Engineers
Class
2)
of the Fed.
Office for Intellectual Property at
an
annual
salary
of
3,500
fr. each.
2.)
It is left to the Director of the Office to decide
on
the date
on
which the
two
men
elected
will
assume
their
duties.
