enchanted
me
so
much in the
past. You
mean more
to
my
soul than the
whole world did
before,
the
"insignificant
silly
little
sweetheart
that
knows
nothing
and understands
nothing."
Whether
you
should be
afraid that
...
(I
am
not going
to
repeat it)? If
you were
here at the
moment, I would
defy all
reason
and would give
you
a
kiss for
punishment
and would have
a
good laugh
at you
as
you
deserve, sweet
little
angel!
And
as
to
whether
I
will be
patient?
What other
choice
do I have with
my
beloved, naughty
little
angel?
The
more
so
since
the little
angels
are
always weak
(but
indeed I
am
not
going
to
say
it
again)
&
you are,
after
all,
&
should
be,
my
little
angel.
How
different it is to
play
a
simple, sweet little
song
with one's
sweetheart than to
overcome, even
if
ever so
"beautifully,"
an
admittedly
difficult sonata with
straight
as
ramrod,
decked-out Pavia
ladies,
with the ideal
goal
of "as fast
as
possible
and at the
same
time
as
faultlessly
as
possible" hovering always
in one's
mind,
or
also "to extricate
oneself from the
situation
with
as
much
style
as
possible.["]
The soul of the
city
can
be
roughly represented
mathematically 1) from the
sum
of the ramrods swallowed by the various
gentlemen
and
ladies
2) from the effect the
everywhere
uniform
dirty
walls
&
streets exert
on
the
spirit
of the
spectator.
The
only
beautiful
thing
are
the
charming,
gracious little children; however,
owing to the law of
adaptation,
the sight of the aforementioned
repulsive
things
makes them become
as
insipid
as
their
shining
examples. Fortunately,
my
parents
&
my
little sister
are a
very
dear
exception.
And
now,
I
am
sending
you once
again
my
heartfelt
greetings
my
beloved child
&
be
happy
until the
beautiful day
of
our
reunion.
Kindest
regards
to Mother
&
Manzis.
Without having read this
letter,
I send
you
cordial
greetings!
Your
