Finally, also the following: the issue of Naturwissenschaften that contains your
dialog on objections to the theory of
relativity[4]
is completely sold out but is con-
tinually being reordered. Two years ago, when you wrote this dialog, you had the
intention of writing a
sequel.[5]
Would it not be appropriate, in view of the many
intrigues, to have this sequel appear now at some point? It might even be appropri-
ate to expand this dialog further so that it could appear in two or even in three sub-
sequent issues of Naturwissenschaften. One could then assemble in a pamphlet the
part published two years ago together with the sequel to appear now. One would
then have at hand an extremely suitable means of defense against the “Syndicate of
German Scientists for the Preservation of Pure
Science.”[6]
I find that Gehrcke and
Gehrcke’s
comrades[7]
are making superb publicity for relativity theory.
