To Mikhail Pokrovsky Berlin, 4 July 1924 Was aware of the protests by the Jewish Section in regard to the Günzburg library. The letter of 14 July 1922 from Pokrovsky to Benzion Katz ([121 573]) was written with the knowledge of those protests, and it stated that the decision should be made by an arbi- tration panel. The price of the library as suggested at that time by Anatoly K. Vinogradov to Benzion Katz was ca. $15,000. In the meantime, Heinrich Loewe has gone to America to secure the funds. If, however, this price is deemed insufficient, the decision should be referred to an arbitration panel. TLC. [121 629]. 397.
