One
reason
why
mathematics
enjoys special
esteem,
above
all
other
sciences,
is
that
its
propositions are
absolutely
certain
and
indisputable,
while those of all other sciences
are
to
some
extent
debatable
and in
constant
danger of being overthrown
by
newly
discovered
facts.
