Sehr geehrter Herre Professor,
Mit grossem Bedauren habe ich erfahren, dass ich auf die Uebersetzung Ihrer
Broschure verzichten muss. Die Arbeit war schon als erster Entwurf fertig, brauch-
te aber eine ernste Revidierung, denn es ist keine kleine Sache eine Uebersetzung
überhaupt, aber besonders eine aus dem deutschen in’s franzoesische, zu ver-
fassen.[2]
