270. To Theodor Kaluza[1]
[Berlin,] 14 October 1921
Highly esteemed Mr. Kaluza,
I am having second thoughts about having prevented you from publishing your
idea about the unification of gravitation and electricity two years
ago.[2]
Your route
seems to me, in any event, to have more in its favor than the one H. Weyl has
taken.[3]
If you would like, I will present your paper before the Academy, after all,
if you send it to me. This could only occur at the end of November, however,
because I shall be away from Berlin until
then.[4]
In utmost respect,
A. Einstein.
