that would be most likely if the money were here. I do not doubt that you under-
stand and feel all this yourself and that in this regard we’ll have no differences of
opinion. My desire is, of course, also entirely within the limits of our

As concerns the vacation, Tete must go for a spa treatment. I was informed not
long ago at a doctor’s examination that his glands are not right and I mustn’t let it
wait. Without me, though, regular treatment could hardly be possible. Perhaps we
can divide the time between us: the first 3 weeks, I take care of him and the last two
weeks he can rest with you.—The vacation lasts approximately from mid-July to
20 Aug.
