DOCS. 211-213 APRIL

Send
the
reply
to
Michele’s address,
with whom I’m
going
to be
staying
after
the
excursion.[5]
The statement
regarding my traveling
here
was
not
a
threat.
I
was
quite
serious
about
wanting
to
be
together
with
the
children
only properly or
not at
all. Now
I’m
very glad
that
you
have not caused
me any
difficulties
with
this.
Regards,
y[ours,]
A.E.

My
dear
Else,
Today we are
snowed in at
Seelisberg[1]
but
are
enjoying
ourselves
immensely
together.
The
boy delights
me,
especially
with his clever
questions
and
his
unde-
manding
way.
No
discord exists between
us.
In
a
good
week
(bet[ween]
the
20th
&
the
25th)
I’ll
be
on
my way
back to
you
and
am
already looking
forward
to
it
very
much.
I
am
staying
with
Besso,
who has
a
place
in
Zurich,
the
last
few
days.[2]
We
shall
not
utter
a
word
about
creatures of
the
opposite
sex!
Greetings
and
kisses from
your
Albert
Greetings
to
the little
daughters
&
Uncle
&
Aunt.

Dear
Else,
We
had
to
break
off
our
mountain
trip
a
bit
early
because
of
the
weather.[1]
We
were
good companions,
the
boy
and
I. I
have
many obligations
here,
some
of
them
enjoyable
ones.
Yesterday
I
was
with Abraham.[2] Tomorrow
Maja is
coming over
here.
Warm
greetings
also to
Ilse
& Margot
from
your
Albert.
Best
regards
to
Uncle
&
Aunt. The
N.
case
seems
to be
repairing
itself,
thank
God.[3]
