Sie haben recht mit dem eigentümlichen Doppelgefühl bei solchen Erlebnissen,
wie mir jetzt eins zu Teil
wurde.[1]
Was mich aber in diesem Falle beim Empfang
Ihrer Zeilen wie ein höherer Trost berührte, ist die freudige Sicherheit, dass das
Vertrauen auf die Aufrichtigkeit der Gesinnung gerade bei den berufensten Beur-
teilern am festesten begründet ist, und das stimmt mich wirklich tief glücklich und
dankbar.
Ich freue mich sehr auf unser Zusammensein in
Rostock.[2]
