Dear Sir,
In the enclosed I send you an inquiry by the inter-territorial publishers “Renais-
sance” regarding the translation rights for the relativity booklet into the Hebrew
and Yiddish
languages.[1]
It would be a special favor to Prof. Einstein, if you could
agree not to demand any compensation for the translation into these two languages,
which Prof. Einstein, for his part, intends to forgo. The publisher would not, of
course, have sole copyright to the translation then either. If you do not wish to
declare your agreement with this arrangement, please do kindly inform us.
