I find that Tete is well developed phys- ically and mentally and that he is a good companion.[2] We have also diligently played music. Yesterday and today, I had quite a lot to do, but we already went to the zoo together. Tomorrow, we plan to go sailing. Unfortunately, I have to leave for Geneva the evening of the 25th.[3] It would be nice if Albert[4] could be here a couple of days before that, so we could be together here another couple of days. If you are in Zurich, I will visit you there during the first few days of August when the committee meeting is finished. Then, I will also travel to Kiel.[5] Let me know whether I should come. It is nice of you to let Tete stay with me. My best wishes to you and Albert from your Albert 26. To Giovanni Giorgi[1] [Berlin,] 17 July 1925 [See documentary edition for English translation.] 27. To Wilhelm Westphal[1] [Berlin, after 18 July 1925][2] Dear Professor Westphal, In the meeting of our Board of Trustees on the 18th of this month, the letter dated the 12th of this month that you sent to Dr. Ruge[3] for the board was brought to our attention. In this letter, you resigned your membership on the board because a con- tinuation of this membership does not seem to you to be compatible with your cur- rent position as Chief Observer at the Astrophysical Observatory. On behalf of the board, I hereby inform you that we have taken note of this de- cision with regret. We will always fondly remember our collaboration with you. Regards, yours sincerely, A. Einstein
