request for a popular article on the theory of relativity
because his skill in popularizing science is limited and
because excellent generally comprehensible articles have

deliver a lecture for the Naturwissenschaftlicher Verein in
Hamburg when Einstein travels through Hamburg on his

1-page TLS from Heinrich Prinz [Einstein’s lawyer] in Ber-
lin. Sends a document pertaining to Einstein’s rental prob-
lems for signature, to be forwarded to Schöneberg
conciliation board. A copy was sent to Einstein’s present
landlord; Otto Eisfelder kept a copy. See entries of 24 and

2-page TLC from Heinrich Prinz to Ludwig G. Rebholz. On
behalf of Einstein, turned to the Schöneberg conciliation
board because of Rebholz’s notice to quit (see entry of 24
March). The board will decide on the maximum increase of
rent as soon as the guidelines will be fixed. In the meantime,
Prinz proposes to extend the present contract by a year.

March 24 1-page TLC Elsa Einstein to Ludwig G. Rebholz. Otto Eis-
felder proceeded as is customary with a new contract, fixing
a higher rent. Heinrich Prinz sent the letter to Ludwig G.
Rebholz (see previous entry) by mistake; he should have
sent it to Eisfelder who had sent the notice out. On 23
March there was a discussion with Rebholz over the matter
(see entry of 28 March). Hopes to reach an agreement on the
