Dank für die liebe Karte. Ich bin nun schon 2 Monate ruhig auf dem Lande zwi- schen Wald und Meer in einem stillen Privathause, beneidenswert für einen sonst so weitgehend der Beschaulichkeit Beraubten.[2] Das innerliche Bumbum hat sich beruhigt, aber ein richtiger Schlemihl ist zurückgeblieben, dem nichts geblieben ist von stolzer Herrlichkeit als ein gesunder Humor. Dies Briefchen hat übrigens einen äusseren Grund. Ein guter Freund von mir, K. Kocherthaler bringt gerade sein erst- geborenes Junges, namens Polo, piccolo spagnolo, an das Polytechnikum.[3] Es ist ein frischer netter Junge und ich möchte Dich bitten, ihn ein bischen wenn nicht gerade zu bemuttern so doch zu betanten, wenn er bei Dir auftauchen wird.
