TLC. [46 081]. 664. Elsa Einstein to Hermann Struck Scharbeutz, 27 September [1928] For the past few months, they have been living alone in a house surrounded by beech trees, close to a bay. AE is getting stronger but will never regain his earlier resilience and vigor. He will spend some time in a villa in Dahlem before returning to Berlin to get re- accustomed to city life. From Reinhold Köbke Berlin, 30 September 1928 Requests help from the KWIP for the development of his invention, a no-cost gasifica- tion of water to be used for power generation. Has applied for three patents. A similar invention of a German-American is based on splitting the atom (“Atom- Zertrümmung”) meanwhile, his invention uses lifting force and explosion, and needs press electrolyzer, lifting motor, and oxyhydrogen gas motor.
