D O C U M E N T S 4 6 6 , 4 6 7 J A N U A R Y 1 9 2 7 7 3 1 466. To Paul Ehrenfest [Berlin,] 27. I. 27. Lieber Ehrenfest! [10 156]. The postcard is addressed “Herrn Prof. Dr. P. Ehrenfest Witte Rozen Str. Leiden Hol- land,” and postmarked “Berlin W[ilmersdorf] 27 1 27 [--] 6N[achmittags].” There are perforations for a loose-leaf binder at the left margin of the document. [1]Einstein refers to the manuscript of Ehrenfest 1927a, which had been sent to him with Doc. 464. [2]Debye 1926 in the issue of the Annalen der Physik dedicated to Max Wien (1866–1938), Pro- fessor of Physics at the University of Jena, who had turned sixty on 25 December. [3]At the ETH (see Doc. 449, note 8). [4]Hans Albert was to commence work as a structural engineer at the August Klönne steel fabrica- tion firm in Dortmund (see Doc. 469 and Ettema and Mutel 2014, p. 55). It is possible that this is the position that both Mileva and Hans Albert referred to in Abs. 712 and Doc. 449. [5]Elsa and Margot Einstein. Ilse Kayser. 467. [75 737.1]. Appended to Hans Albert Einstein to Mileva Einstein, 27 January 1927 [75 737]. [1]Hans Albert had been invited to Berlin by Einstein (see Doc. 449). [2]Frieda Knecht. [3]For an earlier instance of Einstein’s opposition, see Doc. 366. [4]Presumably Eduard’s “amusing” letter mentioned in Doc. 449.
